Live Colorfully

It is key to know what colors look best with your skin tone. For my darker complexion and dark hair I have found that bright colors look best. For me when I feel like I look my best, I am more confident and happy. Coffee always lifts my mood as well :)

Go Local

Spent the day at the local Farmer's Market. Such a cool place to find unique pieces and gifts. If you have a local farmer's market, you should check it out!

Valentines

Valentines Day is coming up, and whether you have a romantic valentine or not, this is the holiday to show love to people in your life. If you don't have a romantic valentine, choose to shower your friends, family, or co-workers with some love. Or you could just eat a lot of chocolate and show yourself some love!

 

Sunshine!

After all the snow and clouds for the past week, the sun came out today and I couldn't be happier! If only I had a job where I could sit outside in the sun and sip on some coffee :)

An Organic New Years Eve

Bringing in the new year with some healthy snacks. One of my favorite snacks is diced peppers and cucumbers with a light sour cream dip. Here's to a healthy 2016!

Ending Is Better Than Pending

Ending something whether it is a job, relationship, or habit can be very difficult to do. But what I have come to find is ending something opens you up to beginning something else. That something else will most likely be better than you could ever imagine and you may just find what brings you true happiness and fulfillment.

Ho Ho Hot Chocolate

Shout out to my wonderful sister who loves to make me happy and make me feel so loved! She made me a cup of her famous Christmas hot chocolate. Perfect for a cold night by the fire. This hot chocolate is topped with delicious whipped cream, large marshmallows and a candy cane.

Fall or Rise

"Once you say you're going to settle for second that's what happens to you in life, I find." Never settle for what is good because you don't think you deserve great. If you want better, be better. Even if you fall, always choose to rise. Just some of my thoughts on this dreary Monday.



Happiest Place On Earth

When going to Disney World, you want to be cool and comfortable. I paired a thin white blouse from Madewell with a basic pair of navy shorts from Vineyard Vines. For shoes I chose navy keds, cute and comfortable to walk in.

Who Doesn't Love A Jersey Dress?

In love with this new jersey dress from Madewell. Paired it with pumps for a dressy look, but could wear sandals later for a casual dinner. Perfect for warm summer nights, comfortable but hugs the waist the accentuate an hour glass shape.

Casual Wednesday

For a nice casual look, I like to pair a fuller sweater or blouse with a slim leg pant. Also find it more flattering to wear your hair up when wearing a top with a high neck.
